Gill and Gal

For my characters for the REAL Bride of Frankenstein, I try to create separate stories for each character. Here's what I came up for for Gill and Gal.

The Black Lagoon Fish Man (homminus pices de stagnum nigrum), or more commonly known by slang terms such as the fishman, gillman, sea creature, lake monster, squidman, or creature from the black lagoon is a highly endangered species currently there are only two living animals (male and female). There is little known about the origin or evolution of the species aside from their very elusive behavior. It is theorized that they have evolved or are the offspring or feral child of some kind of amphibian man hybrid. They are an amphibian species with the ability to live on land and both salt and fresh water with a set of human type lungs and gills on the neck (male) and the sides of the abdomen (female) have the cognitive abilities of a human and are known to speak. The female tends to be larger and more aggressive than the male and is the dominant sex as she will tend to leave care of the egg to the male (if she does not consume the egg) while she does most of the hunting. The male tends to be smaller, weaker and smaller and dotes on the children in a characteristically loving way. After fertilization approximately forty eggs are laid and are systematically consumed by the larger offspring until one large egg remains.
