Fish Lover

This should be a scrap but oh well. I really hated how I drew the Gill Man previously so I tried working on him. I changed up his color and added some pupils and re worked the plates and scales. I have a full one of him but I honestly don't feel like editing the other doodles I have next to him out. I'm so tired right now, I walked a bunch around campus today. I've been thinking of making him a dark green but I kinda like this...at least for now.

One of the things about the Gill Man relevant to my story the REAL Bride of Frankenstein is that the Gill man is a kind, responsible, mild mannered creature just wanting to keep his lagoon clean and he hopes of finding the perfect mermaid some day to spend the rest of his life with. Too bad he's busy being pestered by scientists, tourists, and fishermen with harpoons to get on that boat to America to check out the freakshow circut to find that perfect mer-mate.
